great spot for exploring nearby attractions and parks
during my stay, I loved that I was just a short walk from Blue Sky Sculpture and only a little over 4 km from the Kauffman Museum, which made for a delightful weekend of wandering and taking in the sights of the area.

the hotel was decent, but the outside was pitch black upon arrival, making it feel like a horror movie! also, i couldn't help but notice the poor water pressure in the shower, how charming! i was really expecting a complimentary upgrade for all my troubles, but alas, the staff seemed too busy to care. almost gave it a good review, but just couldn't.

historic charm, updated room features, spacious indoor courtyard
Dated furnishings could use a complete overhaul!!! Parking lot lights need better illumination for safety!!! The indoor pool's closure was disappointing, considering its potential charm!!!

The rollercoaster I didn’t see coming
The manager's friendliness and the nostalgic charm of this location were highlights during my visit! Clean rooms and great service made for a cozy stay after a long drive.
In contrast, it was disheartening to see many past amenities missing, and the decreasing visitor numbers have surely taken a toll on this once-thriving establishment.
